A few studies we considered didn't make the list. Handwriting-vs-typing findings (Mueller & Oppenheimer, 2014) are real but have failed to replicate, so we don't lean on them. We also favor meta-analyses over single studies wherever possible, and name the publication venue so readers can verify the work themselves.
